Convertida en uno de los referentes más importantes para la enseñanza de las artes esta institución recibirá en sus aulas a niños, jóvenes y adultos en nivel básico, técnico medio y profesional.

 La Escuela de Artes del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán ofrece tres licenciaturas: en Canto, Danza Contemporánea y Música y  es  reconocida en el Noroeste de México por ser un semillero de artistas formados con rigor por la planta docente integrada por maestros y artistas activos  de México y otros países.

Entre las instituciones con mayor demanda se encuentran: la Escuela de Música que dirige el maestro Percival Álvarez y ofrece estudios a nivel elemental, técnico y superior;  la Escuela Profesional de Danza Contemporánea que ofrece la Licenciatura en Danza y la Escuela de Ballet Clásico dirigida por la maestra Zoila Fernández que imparte clases a niños y jóvenes desde el nivel elemental hasta el técnico medio.

También se imparten clases de danza folklórica para niños y jóvenes bajo la dirección del maestro Javier Arcadia.

La Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Cultura que coordina Mónica Rice,  a través de su plan de estudios ayuda al alumno a dominar diferentes expresiones artísticas como pintura y escultura,  entre otras.

Los aficionados al séptimo arte pueden inscribirse en el curso sabatino de Apreciación Cinematográfica con el maestro Marco Antonio Lugo y los amantes del teatro tienen la opción de cursar los niveles Básico y Técnico en la Escuela de Teatro de Cultura, bajo la guía de Ramón Gómez Polo.

Para las personas con aptitudes para el canto la opción es inscribirse en el Coro Ángela Peralta  fundado y dirigido por el maestro Antonio González que del 4 al 8 de septiembre ofrecerá un curso de vocalización y canto.

El Coro Guillermo Sarabia bajo la guía del maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda y la maestra Martha Félix, representa una buena opción y quienes deseen perfeccionar su repertorio pueden inscribirse en el curso de perfeccionamiento operístico del 4 al 9 de septiembre.

Durante el ciclo 2016/2017, el Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán registró un total de 1160 estudiantes en todos los niveles.

Las inscripciones del alumnado de nuevo ingreso serán en la Coordinación Académica de la Escuela de Artes de Cultura, ubicada en la calle Carnaval en la colonia Centro, entre Constitución y Libertad, frente a la Plazuela Machado en horario de 9:00 a 14:00 horas.

REGISTRATION FOR THE SCHOOL OF ARTS IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
From August 7 to 18, the enrollment period at the School of Arts of the Institute of Culture of Mazatlan will be held.
As one of the most important references for the teaching of the arts, this institution will accept children, young people and adults in basic, technical and professional levels in its classrooms.
The School of Arts of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán offers three degrees: in Singing, Contemporary Dance, and Music and is recognized in the Northwest of Mexico for being a seed of artists trained with rigor by the education integrated by teachers and active artists of Mexico and other countries.

For people with skills of singing, the option is to enroll in the Angela Peralta Choir founded and directed by the teacher Antonio González who from September 4 to 8 will offer a vocalization and singing course.
The Guillermo Sarabia Choir, under the guidance of Maestro Enrique Patrón de Rueda and maestra Martha Felix, represents a good option and those who wish to perfect their repertoire can enroll in the course of operatic improvement from September 4 to 9.
