El evento inició con un recorrido poético.  Música, videos e imágenes narraron el surgimiento épico de Mazatlán, tierra dueña de una naturaleza salvaje y mágica que dio origen a un pueblo que sabe mezclar el esfuerzo y la fiesta para dar vida a personajes que han brillado con luz propia en el mundo entero.

El talento de los alumnos del Centro de Arte Danzario Vilanova, dirigidos por la maestra Montserrat Millán, y de los intrépidos acróbatas del Circo Atayde Hermanos, bajo la dirección artística de Monserrat Millán, lograron crear una serie de coreografías que entre venados y animales marinos ofrecieron un mosaico de los principales símbolos e íconos de la cultura porteña.

Después la carpa "Patasalada" brindó un homenaje a los hombres y mujeres que con sus aportaciones en los campos de la cultura y las artes han llevado por el mundo “el gran orgullo de ser de Mazatlán”: Antonio Hass, Enrique Patrón De Rueda, Margarita "La Nana" Ramírez, Enrique Alonso "Cachirulo", Teodoro Mariscal Ahumada, Raúl Millán Osuna, Leopoldo Reyes Ruiz “Pepe Grillo”, Héctor Díaz Valdés y Rigoberto Lewis. Junto a ellos, Sodelva Ríos, diseñadora de vestidos reales del Carnaval de Mazatlán, recibió un homenaje por 25 años de trayectoria artística.

Luego, la noche se centró en la belleza femenina con las despampanantes reinas de concursos provenientes de México y el mundo, y, en especial, de las tres reinas homenajeadas en este Carnaval: Patricia Guevara, Reina de Juegos Florales de 1968; Celia Jáuregui, Reina de Juegos Florales de 1993 y Amina Blancarte, Reina del Carnaval de 1993.

El momento culminante llegó: Daniela, Gabriela, Brissia, Mayrim, Alejandra y Jéssica, Princesas Reales del Carnaval 2018, abrieron paso a SGM Alexa I, soberana del Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2018, que llegó al escenario en una hermosa carroza para ser coronada por el Gobernador de Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel; su esposa Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz y por el Presidente Municipal interino de Mazatlán, José Joel Bouciéguez acompañado por su esposa Leticia de Bouciéguez.

Posteriormente,  reinas del pasado y del presente subieron al escenario para saludar al público y recordar que ellas son y serán las máximas joyas de la fiesta porteña: Patricia Guevara, Reina de Juegos Florales 1968; Leticia Arellano, Reina de 1991; Amina Blancarte, Reina de 1993; Celia Jáuregui, Reina de Juegos Florales 1993; Lissy Bernal, Reina de 1995; Abris Tiznado, Reina de 1996; Estrella Palacios, Reina de 2001; Rocío Osuna, Reina de 2002; Olga Rodríguez, Reina de 2008; Corina Beltrán, Reina de Juegos Florales de 2009; Astrid Macías, Reina de 2010; Karen Tirado, Reina de Juegos Florales 2010; Astrid Tirado; Reina de Juegos Florales 2012; Lorena Lizárraga, Reina de 2014; Viviana Avena; Reina de 2017 y Rossina Yáñez, Reina de Juegos Florales 2017.

Una imponente tormenta de fuegos artificiales cubrió al Teodoro Mariscal, la gente alzó sus miradas y teléfonos celulares al cielo y entre detonaciones, gritos de asombro y aplausos el espectáculo hizo una pausa para recibir a Miguel Bosé.

El “Papito” de Hispanoamérica subió al escenario para, desde el primer momento, conectarse con el público patasalada en una velada carnavalera en la que el español aseguró que darían un recorrido por sus 40 años de trayectoria musical en este recital que forma parte de su gira mundial “Estaré”.

La voz mermada por una enfermedad respiratoria no fue un impedimento para que Bosé demostrará porqué se ha convertido en un ícono que ha marcado a generaciones de músicos  del mundo de habla hispana, y uno a uno disparó los temas que lo han colocado en lo más alto de las listas de popularidad, pero sobretodo, a través de su amplio repertorio demostró ser un artista complejo, multifacético y en constante renovación.

“Sereno”, “Duende” y el primer gran himno de la noche “Nena” dejaron boquiabiertos a los mazatlecos por la soberbia producción escénica que, más que contar con tecnología de primera en cuestión de luces y sonidos, se impuso como una herramienta para crear complejas atmósferas llenas de formas y colores, de pasajes que acentuaron el dramatismo y la picardía; la sensualidad y el misterio; la sensibilidad y la soberbia; el humanismo y el genio de Bosé.

“Aire soy” le recordó al público que estaban frente a un artista que ha marcado diferentes momentos de la música pop en español y temas como “Amo”, “Creo en ti” o “No hay un corazón que valga la pena”, “Estaré” o “Amiga” revelaron nuevas facetas, nuevas formas de ver y sentir a Bosé: su inteligencia, su espíritu poético e intelectual y todo esto cambió rápido con su forma de platicar con los patasaladas y con su manera de retroceder el tiempo y dar nuevos bríos al cuerpo y al alma con un popurrí de clásicos como “Linda” o “La chula”.

Cuando la noche estaba en su punto más alto, llegaron algunas de las “cartas fuertes” del repertorio del “Papito”: “Como un lobo”, “Siempre en mi mente”, “Gulliver”, “Morena mía”, “Bambú” y “Si tú no vuelves” que hicieron que los patasaladas subieran a sus asientos, lloraran conmovidos y bailaran a rabiar por los pasillos atestados del Teodoro Mariscal.

Desde luego, un artista de esta talla no puede sostenerse sólo, y esto lo demostraron sus músicos: Mikel Irazoki (director musical y bajo), Yuri Nogueira (batería), Natalie Reyes (acordeón, teclados, arpa eléctrica, percusión), Vicent Huma (guitarras), Tolo Pueyo (guitarras), Tomy Álvarez (coros), Carlos Izaga (coros) y Helen de Quiroga (coros).

Después de despedirse por primera vez, Miguel Bosé regresó con otro superclásico, “Amante bandido” y cuando parecía que ya no habría sorpresas, el artista, visiblemente emocionado por la entrega de los mazatlecos, subió al escenario a Alexa I y a sus princesas reales para regales “Hacer por hacer”, con todo Mazatlán agradeciendo su inagotable energía creativa que, sólo por esta noche, llegó al final con otro verdadero himno “Te amaré” que el propio Miguel dejó en el aire a manera de promesa: “Mazatlán, espero volver pronto, pero algo es seguro… siempre ‘Te amaré’”.

Alexa I is immortalized with the voice of Miguel Bosé

The coronation of SGM Alexa I, Queen of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018, "Patasalada: The Circus of the Talents" held this Saturday at the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium, will be remembered as a historic Carnaval night in which the performance, already legendary, was highlighted with Miguel Bosé.

The event began with a poetic journey. Music, videos and images narrated the epic emergence of Mazatlan, telling of a wild and magical nature that gave birth to a people that know how to mix effort and fiesta to give life to characters that have shined with their own light in the world.

The talent of the students of the Centro de Arte Danzario Vilanova, directed by maestra Montserrat Millán, and the intrepid acrobats of the Circo Atayde Hermanos, under the artistic direction of Monserrat Millán, managed to create a series of choreographies that between deer and marine animals offered a mosaic of the main symbols and icons of the Mazatlecan culture.

After the tent "Patasalada" paid tribute to the men and women who with their contributions in the fields of culture and the arts have brought "the great pride of being from Mazatlan"to the world: Antonio Hass, Enrique Patrón De Rueda, Margarita "La Nana" Ramírez, Enrique Alonso "Cachirulo", Teodoro Mariscal Ahumada, Raúl Millán Osuna, Leopoldo Reyes Ruiz "Pepe Grillo", Héctor Díaz Valdés and Rigoberto Lewis. Together with them, Sodelva Ríos, designer of royal dresses of the Mazatlan Carnaval, received a tribute for 25 years of her artistic career.

The culminating moment arrived: Daniela, Gabriela, Brissia, Mayrim, Alejandra and Jéssica, Royal Princesses of Carnaval 2018, opened the way to SGM Alexa I, sovereign of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018, who arrived on stage in a beautiful float to be crowned by the Governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel; his wife Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz and the Acting Municipal President of Mazatlan, José Joel Bouciéguez accompanied by his wife Leticia de Bouciéguez.

Later, queens from the past and the present took the stage to greet the audience and remember that they are and will be the maximum jewels of the Mazatlecan fiesta: Patricia Guevara, Queen of Floral Prize of Poetry 1968; Leticia Arellano, Queen of 1991; Amina Blancarte, Queen of 1993; Celia Jáuregui, Queen of Floral Prize of Poetry 1993; Lissy Bernal, Queen of 1995; Abris Tiznado, Queen of 1996; Estrella Palacios, Queen of 2001; Rocío Osuna, Queen of 2002; Olga Rodríguez, Queen of 2008; Corina Beltrán, Queen of Floral Games 2009; Astrid Macias, Queen of 2010; Karen Tirado, Queen of Floral Prize of Poetry 2010; Astrid Shot; Queen of Floral Prize of Poetry 2012; Lorena Lizárraga, Queen of 2014; Viviana Avena; Reina de 2017 and Rossina Yáñez, Queen of Floral Prize of Poetry 2017.

An imposing fireworks storm covered Theodore Marical Stadium, people raised their eyes and cell phones to the sky and between explosions, shouts of amazement and applause, the show recieved Miguel Bosé.

The "Papito" of Latin America took the stage, and from the first moment, connected with the Mazatlecan audience in a Carnaval evening in which the Spanish artist said he would give a tour of the 40 years of his musical career in this recital that is part of his world tour “Estaré”.

His voice reduced by a respiratory illness, was not an impediment for Bosé in showing why he has become an icon that has marked generations of musicians in the Spanish-speaking world, and one by one he sanf the songs that have placed him at the top of the popularity lists, but above all, through his wide repertoire he proved to be a complex artist, multifaceted and in constant renovation.

"Sereno", "Duende" and the first great anthem of the night "Nena" amazed Mazatlecos by the superb stage production that, more than having first-class technology in terms of lights and sounds, was imposed as a tool for create complex atmospheres full of shapes and colors, of passages that accentuated the drama and mischief; sensuality and mystery; sensitivity and arrogance; the humanism and Bosé´s genius.

"Aire soy" reminded the audience that they were facing an artist who has marked different moments of pop music in Spanish and topics such as “Amo”, “Creo en ti” and “No hay un corazón que valga la pena”, “Estaré” and “Amiga” revealed new facets, new ways of seeing and feeling Bosé: his intelligence, his poetic and intellectual spirit and all this changed quickly with his way of talking with the people and with his way of going back in time and giving new energy to the body and the soul with a medley of classics such as "Linda" or "La chula".

When the night was at its highest point, came some of the "strong lyrics" of the repertoire of “Papito”: “Como un lobo”, “Siempre en mi mente”, “Gulliver”, “Morena mía”, “Bambú” and “Si tú no vuelves” that made the patasaladas stand in their seats, they cried, moved and danced in rage through the crowded aisles of the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium.

Of course, an artist of this stature can not stand alone, and this was demonstrated by his musicians: Mikel Irazoki (musical director and bass), Yuri Nogueira (drums), Natalie Reyes (accordion, keyboards, electric harp, percussion), Vicent Huma (guitars), Tolo Pueyo (guitars), Tomy Álvarez (choirs), Carlos Izaga (choirs) and Helen de Quiroga (chorus).

After saying goodbye for the first time, Miguel Bosé returned with another superclásico, "Amante bandito" and when it seemed that there would be no surprises, the artist, visibly moved by the delivery of the Mazatlecos, took the stage with Alexa I and her royal princesses. “Hacer por hacer”, with all of Mazatlan thanking his inexhaustible creative energy that, just for tonight, came to an end with another true anthem "Te amaré" that Miguel himself left in the air as a promise: "Mazatlan, I hopeto come back soon, but something is for sure ...  ´I will always love you´ .
