Más allá de la magia y la fantasía, para ella cada evento del Carnaval es una oportunidad de vivir momentos de alegría y unión con la familia y los seres queridos.

“Desde pequeña siempre me ha gustado ir a los desfiles, tengo bonitos recuerdos con mi familia, tuve una prima que fue reina de Juegos Florales en 2009 y desde niña siempre había deseado formar parte del Carnaval”, comparte la joven de 22 años.

Y si este sueño se ha forjado poco a poco en su corazón, “Patasalada: el circo de los talentos”, le ha permitido vivir como nunca el apoyo de su familia y amigos, pues su candidatura ha estado marcada por momentos dolorosos que la han llevado a descubrir cómo del amor puede surgir una determinación inquebrantable.

“Una tía muy cercana falleció hace poco. Antes de que yo decidiera concursar ella estaba bien y de pronto enfermó. No sabía qué tan grave era su problema, me quise salir… pero ella me dijo que no lo hiciera, que siguiera adelante. Esto es algo que me gusta mucho, pero a la vez siento la tristeza… y aquí estoy”.

Así, entre el dolor de una gran pérdida y la alegría por realizar sus anhelos y con la oportunidad de contemplar de cerca la fragilidad de la vida, Ana Paola Beltrán ha crecido enormemente en este Carnaval que además le ha permitido ver en las otras candidatas a un grupo de buenas compañeras y, sobre todo, ver cómo los mazatlecos destacan por su alegría, capacidad de trabajo y honradez.

Por último, al ser una amante de la danza y el teatro, Ana Paola buscará que la Noche de Elección de Reinas sea como una gran celebración, un momento de triunfo por todo el esfuerzo y la ilusión que este Carnaval ha despertado en ella.

“Si pienso en la Noche de Elección claro que he sentido nervios. Pero me estoy preparando para ese momento. Para concentrarme y ganar”.

For Ana Paola Beltrán, candidate for Queen of the Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018, the maximum celebration of the port is the greatest expression of the value that the family has for the people of Mazatlan and has become an event that has revealed very deep aspects of their being.

Beyond magic and fantasy, for her every Carnaval event is an opportunity to live moments of joy and union with family and loved ones.

"Since I was little, I always liked to go to the parades, I have beautiful memories with my family, I had a cousin who was the Queen of Floral Games in 2009 and since then I have always wanted to be part of Carnaval", shares the 22-year-old girl.

And if this dream has been forged little by little in her heart, "Patasalada: the Circus of the Talents" has allowed her to enjoy as never before, the support of her family and friends, since her candidacy she has been marked by painful moments that have led to discover how an unbreakable determination can emerge from love.

"A very close aunt died recently. Before I decided to compete, she was fine and suddenly became ill. I did not know how serious her problem was, I wanted to leave ... but she told me not to do it, to keep going. This is something that I like very much, but at the same time I feel the sadness ... and here I am ".

Thus, between the pain of a great loss and the joy of realizing her longings and with the opportunity to closely contemplate the fragility of life, Ana Paola Beltrán has grown enormously in this Carnaval, which has also allowed her to see the other candidates as a group of good compañeras and, above all, to see how Mazatlecos stand out for their joy, work capacity and honesty.

Finally, being a lover of dance and theater, Ana Paola will seek that the Night of the Election of Queens is a great celebration, a moment of triumph for all the effort and the illusion that this Carnaval has awakened in her.

"If I think of the Election Night, I clearly feel nervous. But, I´m preparing for that moment. To concentrate and win."
