Esta travesía organizada por el Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, estará llena de alegría, música y sorpresas y será encabezada por los actuales reyes y reinas de la máxima fiesta del puerto y por los nuevos rostros que buscan grabar sus nombres en la próxima edición del Carnaval que se realizará del 8 al 13 de febrero.

Las actuales reinas del Carnaval de Mazatlán, Viviana I, Reina del Carnaval; y Rosina I, reina de los Juegos Florales; Jorge y Guillermo, Rey de la Alegría y Príncipe del Carnaval 2017; e Ivanna y Aylín, Reina Infantil y Reina de la Poesía del 2017, revivirán la euforia de ser los representantes de la tradición, los valores e ideales de las fiestas carnestolendas de “La Perla del Pacífico”.

Las candidatas que buscarán ser parte de la historia de Mazatlán son:  Daniela López Caballero, Alexa Méndez Sarabia, Sofía Briseño, Mayrim Morales Miramontes, Elsie Alejandra Muzquiz, Alejandra del Rosario Tirado Tirado, Jéssica Margarita López Salazar, Ana Paola Beltrán, Paola Estefanía Nordahl Macías, Brisia Carolina Tirado Martínez, Gabriela Lizbeth Cristerna Díaz y Naomi Elizabeth Tirado González.

Además, Camila, Shuleyka y Gretel promoverán su candidatura infantil; mientras que César Tulio Martínez Tirado, Fabián Ernesto Maldonado Cázares y Radamés, “El profe”, harán lo propio en pos de la corona de Rey de la Alegría.

En esta ocasión los encargados de la manifestación carnavalera serán el Grupo Fussion y los talentos dancísticos de la escuela Vilanova, dirigidos por la maestra Monserrat Millán.

La manifestación iniciará en punto de las 17:00 horas en la Avenida Miguel Alemán para después navegar por el Paseo Olas Altas, atravesar el Paseo Claussen y parte de la Playa Norte y luego enfilar por la Calle Guillermo Nelson para que, a las 18:00 horas, todo el contingente se encuentre en la emblemática Plazuela Zaragoza e iniciar allí el Primer Cómputo para determinar a los futuros Rey de la Alegría y Reina Infantil.

El acceso a la manifestación y al primer cómputo del Carnaval es totalmente gratuito.

Attend the First Manifestation and Computing of Carnival 2018!

This Thursday, the first activity of "Patasalada: The Circus of Talents", the International Carnaval Mazatlan 2018 will be held, and the Plazuela Zaragoza will be the stage where the First Computation will be held headed into the election of the Child Queen and King of the Joy.

This event organized by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, will be full of joy, music and surprises and will be led by the current kings and queens of the grandest fiesta of the port and by the new faces that seek to record their names in the next edition of Carnaval which will be held from February 8 to 13, 2018.

The current queens of Carnaval Mazatlan, Viviana I, Queen of Carnaval; and Rosina I, Queen of the Floral Games; Jorge and Guillermo, King of Joy and Prince of Carnaval 2017; and Ivanna and Aylín, Child Queen and Queen of Poetry 2017, will relive the euphoria of being the representatives of the tradition, values and ideals of the Carnaval celebrations of "The Pearl of the Pacific".

The candidates that will seek to be part of the history of Mazatlan are: Daniela Lopez Caballero, Alexa Méndez Sarabia, Sofia Briseño, Mayrim Morales Miramontes, Elsie Alejandra Muzquiz, Alejandra del Rosario Tirado Tirado, Jéssica Margarita López Salazar, Ana Paola Beltrán, Paola Estefanía Nordahl Macías, Brisia Carolina Tirado Martínez, Gabriela Lizbeth Cristerna Díaz and Naomi Elizabeth Tirado González.

In addition, Camila, Shuleyka and Gretel will promote their children´s candidacy; while César Tulio Martínez Tirado, Fabian Ernesto Maldonado Cázares and Radamés, "El Profe", will do the same in pursuit of the crown of the Rey de la Alegría (King of Joy).

On this occasion the people heading of the Carnaval demonstration will be Grupo Fussion and the dance talents of the Vilanova school, directed by maestra Monserrat Millán.

The demonstration will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Avenida Miguel Aleman and then navigate through Paseo Olas Altas, cross the Paseo Claussen and part of the North Beach and then take Guillermo Nelson Street so that, at 6 pm, all the contingent will be in the emblematic Plaza Zaragoza and the First Computation to determine the future King of Joy and Child Queen will start there.
 
The access to the demonstration and the first count of Carnaval is totally free.
