Su pasión por la música comenzó desde pequeño, cuando le mostraron los instrumentos y él se decidió por el piano. Su formación y estudios los ha realizado a través de clases particulares con el maestro Antonio González, no ha llevado un estudio formal en ninguna institución y esto resulta difícil de creer cuando se tiene la oportunidad de escucharlo.

“El maestro me invitó a la Camerata, me gustó su propuesta y acepté a formar parte de ella” dice Penin con un aire casual, relajado.

La pieza a interpretar será el “Concierto no. 2 para piano” de Dmitri Shostakovich, una obra que el joven pianista jamás ha interpretado, lleva seis meses practicándola y es todo un reto debido a su alto nivel de dificultad y su gran belleza.

César Arturo Penin, Mazatlecan Prodigy in next concert of the Camerata

At only 15 years old, Mazatlecan pianist César Arturo Penin Gonzalez was recently invited by maestro Antonio González to join the Camerata Mazatlan in the "Influences of Baroque" concert to be held on Thursday, May 25 at 8 pm in the Angela Peralta Theater.

His passion for music began from childhood, when he was shown the instruments and he decided on the piano. He has done his training and studies through private lessons with maestro Antonio González, and has not taken formal study in any institution and it’s very hard to believe when you have the opportunity to listen to him.

"The maestro invited me to the Camerata, I liked his idea and I accepted to be part of it" Penin said with a casual air, relaxed.
