Ambos se quedaron prácticamente mudos, con un nudo en la garganta por la emoción al salir victoriosos de una competencia que generó una marejada de emociones en la Plazuela República y que al finalizar, este viernes, les permitió aportar los votos necesarios para imponerse ante sus contendientes.
Desde el ocaso, la plaza pública recibió una oleada de colores y sonidos con la participación del Grupo PlayAzul; las dinámicas coreografías de Vilanova Centro de Arte Danzario, bajo la dirección de la maestra Montserrat Millán, la vibrante conducción de un ícono del Carnaval de Mazatlán: Esteban “El Bacho” Peraza y el fondo musical de “Somos patasalada” canción del Carnaval Mazatlán 2018, del compositor Oscar Olguín Hernández interpretada por Banda Siempre Alegre.
Las animadas porras de los candidatos y candidatas infantiles inyectaron al público gran entusiasmo y alegría mientras el personal de Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán bajo la dirección de Raúl Rico González, contabilizaba los votos bajo la aprobación del Notario Público José Manuel Magallón Osuna.
En la contienda a Rey de la Alegría César Tulio aportó 167 mil 106 votos; Sergio Radamés, “El Profe”, reunió 53 mil 120 votos y se convertirá en Príncipe de la Alegría del Carnaval de Mazatlán 2018; Fabián Ernesto, quien en el primer cómputo había aportados 20 mil 170 votos, quedó fuera de la competencia al no presentarse ni aportar en la fase final.
En la competencia por la corona infantil Gretel finalizó con 750 mil votos y con ello será coronada como Reina Infantil de la máxima fiesta porteña, el lunes 12 de febrero; Camila, la nueva Reina de la Poesía Infantil, finalizó con 62 mil 500 votos y Shuleyka, Princesa del Carnaval 2018, finalizó con 51 mil votos.
La primera página de oro del Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2018: “Patasalada, el Circo de los talentos” ya se escribió, y este sábado a las 19:00 horas, el Teatro Ángela Peralta vibrará con la siempre esperada Elección de Reinas; una noche que promete ser inolvidable para las hermosas Daniela López Caballero, Alexa Méndez Sarabia, Sofía Briseño, Mayrim Morales Miramontes, Elsie Alejandra Muzquiz, Alejandra del Rosario Tirado Tirado, Jéssica Margarita López Salazar, Ana Paola Beltrán, Paola Estefanía Nordahl Macías, Brisia Carolina Tirado Martínez y Gabriela Lizbeth Cristerna Díaz.
Estas hermosas mujeres asistieron como invitadas de honor a la elección del Rey y la Reina Infantil y no podían faltar los soberanos actuales del carnaval porteño: Viviana, Reina del Carnaval; Rosina, Reina de los Juegos Florales; Jorge, Rey de la Alegría; el Príncipe Guillermo; el Marqués Jesús Antonio; la soberana infantil Ivanna; Aylín , Reina de la Poesía y Vicky, princesa infantil.

Tulio and Gretel conquer the crowns of Carnaval
The dreams of César Tulio Martínez Tirado and Gretel Yamileth Ochoa Pineda came true on Friday night when they won the title of King of Joy and Children´s Queen of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018 "Patasalada: the Circus of the Talents".
Both were virtually silent, with a lump in their throat for the excitement of emerging victorious in the competition that generated a surge of emotions in Plaza Republic and that in the end, this Friday, allowed them to provide the necessary votes to prevail against their contenders .
