“El Corno Francés a través de la historia” concierto en Casa Haas
El viernes 8 de septiembre se presentará en Casa Haas a las 19:00 horas el concierto “El Corno francés a través de la historia”; participa el cornista Iván Rogelio Vázquez, la pianista Rocío González y la soprano invitada Marysol Calles.


En esta velada el público disfrutará una exquisita selección del repertorio cornístico  de los siglos XVIII, XIX y XX para abarcar su historia y desarrollo; las piezas acentúan la belleza musical del corno francés acompañado por  el piano y la voz humana.

El programa transita por obras de los compositores más sobresalientes de cada periodo de la música, entre ellos barroco, clásico, romántico y contemporáneo, como: Concert Rondó K. 371 de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Canción a la luna de la ópera: “Rusalka” de Antonin Dvorak; “Sonata para corno y piano Op. 17 de Ludwig Van Beethoven; y Trío para Soprano, Corno Francés y piano Op.119 Franz Schubert.

Esta presentación forma parte de un proyecto ganador de la beca otorgada por el Programa de Estímulo a la creación y al Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA) para difundir el corno francés y su música académica.

El origen de este bello instrumento se remonta a las primeras civilizaciones que utilizaban los cuernos de los animales para comunicarse a largas distancias y su sonido era usado como lenguaje de caza. 

Iván Rogelio Vázquez Díaz, originario de Rio Verde, San Luis, gracias a sus habilidades en el corno francés ha compartido elescenario con el Tenor Plácido Domingo y ha sido dirigido por la maestra Alondra de Parra, José Guadalupe Flores, Román Revueltas, Jorg Birhance y David Harutynyan, entre otros.

El maestra Vázquez es ganador de la beca del  Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA) 2016-2017 y actualmente es corno principal de la Orquesta Sinfónica de la UJED y maestro de corno francés en la Orquesta Sinfónica Esperanza Azteca Durango y Coordinador de la Sección de Metales.

Rocío González, originaria de Mazatlan, Sinaloa, inició sus estudios  como Instructor en Música en el Centro Municipal de Artes hoy Escuela de Artes del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán. Estudió piano con la maestra Selene León; reside en Durango  y se desempeña como catedrática y pianista en la Escuela Superior de Música de la Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango. En el verano de 2015 asistió un Festival Internacional de Piano realizado en Lancaster, Pensilvania, Estados Unidos. 

La soprano Marysol Calles es originaria de Guadalajara, Jalisco.  Ha cantado diversos roles de ópera, zarzuela y musicales. Participó en clases magistrales de canto e interpretación escénica en México, Estados Unidos e Italia con maestros de reconocimiento nacional e internacional; como docente ha impartido clases por más de 19 años. Actualmente forma parte del cuerpo docente de la Escuela de Artes de Cultura Mazatlán en la disciplina de música en el área de Ballet y participa como cantante solista en diversos eventos musicales.

"The French Horn through History" Concert at Haas House

On Friday the 8th of September, the concert "The French Horn through History" will be presented at Casa Haas at 7 pm; Participating will be cornista Iván Rogelio Vázquez, pianist Rocío González and invited soprano Marysol Calles.

In this evening, the public will enjoy an exquisite selection of the cornistic repertoire from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries to cover its history and development; The pieces accentuate the musical beauty of the French horn accompanied by the piano and the human voice.

The program goes through works by the most outstanding composers of each period of music, including Baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary, such as: Concert Rondó K. 371 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Song to the moon from the opera: "Rusalka" by Antonin Dvorak; "Sonata for Horn and Piano Op. 17 by Ludwig Van Beethoven; And Trio for Soprano, French Horn and Piano Op.119 Franz Schubert.

This presentation is part of a winning project of the scholarship granted by the Program to Encourage Creation and Artistic Development (PECDA) to share the French horn and its academic music.

Maestro Vázquez is a winner of the Program of Encouragement to the Artistic Creation and Development (PECDA) 2016-2017 and is currently the principal horn player of the UJED Symphony Orchestra and French horn teacher in the Symphony Orchestra Esperanza Azteca Durango and Coordinator Of the Metals Section.

Rocío González, originally from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, began her studies as an instructor in music at the Municipal Center of Arts today the School of Arts of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan. She studied piano with maestra Selene León; She resides in Durango and is a professor and pianist in the Superior School of Music of the University of Juárez in the State of Durango. In the summer of 2015 she attended an International Piano Festival held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

The soprano Marysol Calles is originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco. She has sung various operas, zarzuela and musical roles. She participated in master classes in singing and performing interpretation in Mexico, the United States and Italy with teachers of national and international recognition; as maestra she has taught classes for more than 19 years. Currently she is part of the faculty of the School of Arts of Cultura de Mazatlan in the discipline of music in the area of Ballet and participates as a solo singer in various musical events.
