Para el jueves 19 de octubre la Banda de Jazz del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, dirigida por el maestro Carlos Betanzos, ofrecerá un repertorio integrado por auténticos clásicos de la música popular de México, América Latina y del mundo.  

La agrupación musical fue fundada en 1994 y con el tiempo se ha ganado el respeto y la admiración del público. Actualmente, está conformada por saxofones, flautas, pianos, percusiones, clarinete, trompetas, piano, bajo, batería; todos ejecutados con el corazón y gran disciplina de jóvenes músicos. 

El viernes 20 de octubre la Escala de Percusiones, dirigida por el maestro Manuel Rocha interactuará con el público durante la interpretación de alegres piezas musicales. 

Los sonidos, los colores y los trajes típicos más representativos de distintos puntos del país acamparán en la plazuela de la López Mateos el sábado 21 de octubre, durante la actuación del Ballet Folklórico del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán que ofrecerá un alegre recorrido por las danzas más representativas de México.

The Cultura en tu Casa program arrives on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at the colonia Adolfo López Mateos, with three shows starting at 8:00 pm on the esplanade adjoining the church.

For Thursday, October 19, the Jazz Band of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, directed by the maestro Carlos Betanzos, will offer a repertoire composed by authentic classics of the popular music of Mexico, Latin America and the world.

The musical group was founded in 1994, and over time has earned the respect and admiration of the public. Currently, it consists of saxophones, flutes, pianos, percussions, clarinet, trumpets, piano, bass, drums; all executed with the heart and great discipline of young musicians.

On Friday, October 20, the Escala de Percusiones, directed by Manuel Rocha will interact with the audience during the performance of joyful pieces of music.
The most representative sounds, colors and typical costumes from different parts of the country will be in the López Mateos square on Saturday, October 21, during the performance of the Ballet Folklorico of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, which will offer a joyous tour of the dances most representative of Mexico.
