“El Poder de los Metales” este viernes
Los instrumentos de viento serán los protagonistas del concierto que este viernes 10 de noviembre la Camerata Mazatlán ofrecerá en el Teatro Ángela Peralta a las 20:00 horas.


El maestro Percival Álvarez conduce a músicos y solistas en esta velada del Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2017,  marco perfecto para el goce de obras como  Intermezzo de Cavalleria Rusticana de Pietro Mascagni; Concierto para Tenor y Corno francés de Benjamin Britten; Concierto en Re, de Ígor Stravinsky; y el Concierto no.1 para Trompeta y Cuerdas de Dmitri Shostakovich. 

Los músicos de la Camerata Mazatlán han tocado con prestigiosas orquestas de México y del extranjero.  Memorables han sido sus actuaciones al lado de grandes figuras internacionales como el barítono José Adán Pérez, el Tenor Carlos Osuna,  Susana Zabaleta, Roberto “Betuco” Arballo, la soprano italo-mexicana Filippa Giordano y Héctor Ortiz, entre otros.

El conjunto será dirigido por el maestro Percival Álvarez, músico, pedagogo y director de orquesta, cuyo nombre es símbolo de prestigio en las salas de concierto de México y otros países.   Cuenta con estudios musicales en la Escuela Nacional de Música de la UNAM, la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro,  el Conductors  Institute del Bard College en Nueva York y en Barcelona, España.

"The Power of Metals" this Friday

The wind instruments will be the protagonists of the concert that on Friday, the 10th of November, the Camerata Mazatlán will offer at the Ángela Peralta Theater at 8 pm.

Maestro Percival Álvarez leads musicians and soloists in this evening of the Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2017, the perfect setting for the enjoyment of works such as Pietro Mascagni´s Intermezzo de Cavalleria Rusticana; Concert for Tenor and French Horn by Benjamin Britten; Concert in D, by Igor Stravinsky; and Concert No. 1 for Trumpet and Strings by Dmitri Shostakovich.

The musicians of the Camerata Mazatlán have played with prestigious orchestras from Mexico and abroad. Memorable performances have been alongside major international figures such as baritone José Adán Pérez, Tenor Carlos Osuna, Susana Zabaleta, Roberto "Betuco" Arballo, Italo-mexicano soprano Filippa Giordano and Héctor Ortiz, among others.

The group will be directed by Percival Álvarez, musician, pedagogue and conductor, whose name is a symbol of prestige in the concert halls of Mexico and other countries. He studied music at the National School of Music of UNAM, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Autonomous University of Querétaro, the Conductors Institute of Bard College in New York and in Barcelona, ??Spain.
