“Elle: Abuso y Seducción” de Paul Verhoeven se exhibe en el Cinematógrafo
Con la proyección de la película “Elle: Abuso y Seducción”, del prestigioso cineasta de origen holandés Paul Verhoeven, este sábado en el Cinematógrafo del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán inicia el Ciclo “Francia: Alma Mater”, una muestra de lo mejor del cine francés contemporáneo.


Después de más de una década sin filmar, el director Paul Verhoeven regresa con el filme “Elle: Abuso y Seducción”, un relato perturbador, un thriller psicológico que es, al mismo tiempo, el retrato de un mundo violento que no da concesiones a la moral y las buenas costumbres, lo más alejado de lo socialmente correcto y con una buena dosis de humor negro e ironía.

Michelle es una atractiva mujer madura, fuerte y exitosa en el mundo de los videojuegos, que enfrenta con cinismo un oscuro pasado. Ella comienza a sufrir acoso sexual por parte de un desconocido y la situación se vuelve extremadamente violenta.

Por su extraordinaria calidad artística, este filme formó parte de la Selección Oficial por el Premio Palma de Oro en el Festival de Cannes, 2016, además de obtener los Premios Globo de Oro a Mejor Película en Lengua Extranjera y a Mejor Actriz (Isabella Huppert), 2017.

El prestigioso cineasta Holandés Paul Verhoeven debutó con un gran logro artístico en 1971 con la película “Delicias Holandesas”, consiguiendo luego el reconocimiento internacional en 1973 con el “Delicias Turcas”, y la nominación al Premio Oscar a Mejor Película en Lengua Extranjera. Emigra a Hollywood a mediados de los ochenta y se consolida como un exitoso cineasta en taquilla gracias a filmes como: “Robocop” (1989), “El vengador del futuro” (1990), “Bajos Instintos” (1992) y “Showgirls” (1995).

La función empieza a las 18:00 horas y la entrada es libre para todo público, frente a la Plazuela Machado. Cupo limitado.
