En “la Redada”, la Directora Rose Bosch narra los sucesos ocurridos la noche del 16 de Julio de 1942 en parís, cuando la policía del Marisca Pétain, que había formado un pacto con Hitler y aceptado la ocupación de Francia por el ejército alemán, procedió a realizar una gigantesca redada en la que fueron arrestados 13 mil 152 judíos, y posteriormente encerrados en condiciones infrahumanas en el Velódromo de Invierno.
El filme retrata esta atroz maniobra pero también la resistencia de muchos franceses, la desobediencia civil de ciudadanos y de algunos funcionarios que permitió escapar a buena parte de los que habían sido previamente fichados y marcados con la estrella amarilla.
El filme se convierte en un extraordinario relato sobre la solidaridad y la sobrevivencia humana, que por su extraordinaria calidad artística obtuvo el Premio del Público en el Festival de Cine Judío de Atlanta 2011.
Rose Bosch inicia su carrera en el cine francés escribiendo los guiones de película como “1492, la Conquista del Paraíso” (92), de Ridley Scott, así como “Pacto de Silencio” (2002), de Graham Guilt, entre otros.
Hace su debut como realizadora con la película histórica “Rasputín” y en 2005 comienza a obtener el reconocimiento internacional con su filme “Animal”, presentando en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Chicago y ganando en 2006 dos premios con este filme: Mejor Guion el Gran Premio del Jurado a Mejor Película Fantástica Europea en el FANTASPORTO. Uno de sus trabajos más recientes es “Verano en Provincia” (2014).

This Saturday at the Cinema "La Redada" by Rose Bosch

In "La Redada", Director Rose Bosch tells the events that occurred on the night of July 16, 1942 in Paris, when the police of Pétain Marshal, who had formed a pact with Hitler and accepted the occupation of France by the German army, proceeded to carry out a gigantic raid in which 13,152 Jews were arrested, and later locked in subhuman conditions in the Velodrome de Invierno.
The film portrays this atrocious maneuver but also the resistance of many French, civil disobedience of citizens and some officials who allowed many of those who had been previously signed and marked with the yellow star to escape.
The film becomes an extraordinary story about solidarity and human survival, which for its extraordinary artistic quality won the Audience Award at the 2011 Jewish Film Festival of Atlanta.
Rose Bosch begins her career in French cinema by writing film scripts such as "1492, the Conquest of Paradise" (92), by Ridley Scott, as well as "Pact of Silence" (2002), by Graham Guilt, among others.
She made her debut as a filmmaker with the historical film "Rasputin" and in 2005, she began to obtain international recognition with her film "Animal", presenting at the Chicago International Film Festival and winning two awards in 2006 with this film: Best Screenplay on Grand Jury Prize for Best European Fantastic Film at FANTASPORTO. One of her most recent works is "Summer in Province" (2014).
