El Festival Cultural Mazatlán nace en 1993 con una cuidada y atractiva cartelera que lo ubica entre los más importantes foros para la manifestación de las expresiones artísticas. La calidad de su programación le confiere un lugar preponderante en el ámbito nacional y distingue a Mazatlán entre los principales destinos culturales del noroeste de México.

En su cartelera convergen artistas locales, nacionales  y de países invitados, cuyas actuaciones dignifican la música, el teatro, la danza, el ballet, canto, literatura y las artes plásticas.

Su programación se nutre de la experiencia de artistas y compañías internacionales pero permite la incursión de creadores y virtuosos  formados en las aulas del Centro Municipal de Artes de Mazatlán.

El calendario del FCM  se extiende a lo largo de los meses de octubre, noviembre y diciembre y convoca a un amplio auditorio que  llena el Teatro Ángela Peralta,  iglesias, plazuelas y espacios al aire libre de la zona urbana y rural del municipio de Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

Entre sus objetivos  destaca la creación de nuevos públicos para la apreciación de las artes escénicas y la difusión del arte y la cultura como un medio para sensibilizar a la población.

La incursión de creadores de prestigio mundial enriquece el nivel  del Festival Cultural Mazatlán que se ha  convertido en una gozosa opción  de arte y cultura en el  noroeste de México. Su programación anualmente es esperada por el público local y nacional, y  por cientos de ciudadanos extranjeros residentes en Mazatlán.

Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2017

The Mazatlan Cultural Festival (FCM) was born in 1993 with a careful and attractive billboard that places it among the most important forums for the expression of artistic expressions. The quality of its programming confers a dominating place at the national level and distinguishes Mazatlan among the main cultural destinations in northwestern Mexico.

In its programming local, national and invited international artists converge, whose performances dignify music, theatre, dance, ballet, singing, literature and the visual arts.

It´s programming is nourished by the experience of international artists and companies, but allows the incursion of creators and virtuosos formed in the classrooms of the Municipal Center of the Arts of Mazatlan.

The FCM calendar extends throughout the months of October, November and December and convenes a large audience that fills the Ángela Peralta Theater, churches, squares and open-air spaces of the urban and rural area of the municipality of Mazatlan, Sinaloa.

Among its objectives is the creation of new public for the appreciation of the performing arts and the diffusion of art and culture as a means of sensitizing the population.

The incursion of world-renowned artists enriches the level of the Mazatlan Cultural Festival that has become a joyful choice of art and culture in northwestern Mexico. Its yearly program is long awaited by the local and national public, and by hundreds of foreign residents in Mazatlan.
