José Miguel Rivera en el inicio del programa “Cultura con historia” en las iglesias
La noche de este martes, el maestro José Miguel Rivera presentó un brillante recital en la Iglesia Cristiana, espectáculo que marcó el inicio del programa Cultura con Historia que busca difundir el gusto por la música clásica en distintos escenarios del puerto.


Como parte de las actividades del Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2017, el espectáculo de José Miguel Rivera llevó al público por un viaje sonoro que inició en el “Preludio y fuga n. 5 DM, BWV 869” del compositor alemán Johann Sebastian Bach, figura representativa del periodo barroco en el siglo 18.

El programa avanzó hacia la expresividad de compositores románticos del siglo 19 en los que el público gozó la euforia de piezas del músico alemán Robert Schumann y el mexicano Ernesto Elorduy y sintió a flor de piel la profunda melancolía que evocaban otras melodías como el “Preludio en F#M, Op. 28 no. 13 del compositor francés Frédéric Chopin.

Al término de cada pieza, el público reconoció con fuertes aplausos las interpretaciones del maestro Rivera. Cada una fluyó sin contratiempos y despertó asombro cada vez que éste se explayaba con total naturalidad y serenidad en las partes más exigentes.

Formal, tranquilo  como acostumbra dar vida a sus espectáculos, el oriundo de Jalisco fue despedido con la ovación de un público que se mostró encantado tras la interpretación de la pieza “Deep in the Ground” de Lucía Rivera.

El programa Cultura con Historia continúa con presentaciones de la Camerata Mazatlán y sus conciertos de música antigua este miércoles 22 y jueves 23 de noviembre en las iglesias Sagrada Familia y San Carlos Borromeo. La cita es a las 20:00 horas. Entrada gratuita.

On Tuesday night, maestro José Miguel Rivera presented a brilliant recital in the Christian Church, a show that marked the beginning of the Cultura with History program that seeks to spread the taste for classical music in different venues of the port.

As part of the activities of the Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2017, José Miguel Rivera led the audience through a sound trip that began in the "Prelude and Flight n. 5 DM, BWV 869 "by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, a representative figure of the Baroque period in the 18th century.

The program moved towards the expressiveness of romantic composers of the 19th century in which the audience enjoyed the euphoria of pieces by the German musician Robert Schumann and the Mexican Ernesto Elorduy and felt the deep melancholy evoked by other melodies such as the "Prelude in F # M, Op. 28 no. 13 by French composer Frédéric Chopin.

At the end of each piece, the audience recognized with great applause the interpretations of maestro Rivera. Each one flowed smoothly and was astonishing every time it expanded with naturalness and serenity in the most demanding parts.

Formal, quiet as usual, giving life to his shows, the native of Jalisco was dismissed with the ovation of an audience that was delighted after the interpretation of the piece "Deep in the Ground" by Lucía Rivera.

The Cultura with History program continues with presentations by the Camerata Mazatlán and its early music concerts on Wednesday, November 22 and Thursday, November 23 at the Sagrada Familia and San Carlos Borromeo churches. The appointment is at 8:00 p.m. Free entrance.
