Como primera entrada, los paladares de los asistentes fueron consentidos con una torta de cangrejo bañada en miel de limón amarillo y mostaza Dijon con ensalada de arúgula y tomates cherry ahumados, preparados por el chef Marino Maganda.

Distintas personalidades como Joel Bouciéguez Lizárraga, Presidente Municipal de Mazatlán; Raúl Rico González, Director General del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán; Alfredo Gómez Rubio, Presidente del Proyecto Centro Histórico y Julio Recinos, organizador del Mazatlán Jazz Fest Chilo 2018, estuvieron presentes durante esta cena ofrecida para recaudar fondos para mejorar el Centro Histórico de Mazatlán.

Los comensales degustaron un delicioso bisque de langosta con tosta de brioche y duxelle de hongos, preparados por el chef Luis Osuna y, mientras el tercer tiempo de la noche llegada: jambalaya de fideos con calamares y camarones, preparados por el chef Diego Becerra, la cantante argentina Karen Souza subió al escenario para desbordar sensualidad y talento a través de su repertorio.

Sin duda alguna su espectáculo fue el plato fuerte de la noche. Las tartas sureñas de postre del chef Luis Osuna y canciones como “My one and only love”, “Full moon”, “Personal Jesus” y “Strawberry fields forever”, inundaron los sentidos del público en esta tercera edición de la cena Cosinar Pro Centro Histórico.

Entre otros entrañables covers de canciones como “Don’t you forget about me”, “I’m beginning to see the light”, “Billie Jean” y “Creep”, la noche se tornó cada vez más amena para los cientos de comensales que disfrutaron de dos horas de buena música y comida en compañía de sus amigos y familiares.

Al finalizar el programa de la cantante argentina, Alfredo Gómez Rubio y Julio Recinos, invitaron a subir al escenario a los otros tres artistas de la noche: los chefs Marino Maganda,  Luis Osuna y Diego Becerra, para que recibieran aplausos del público por su excelente toque gastronómico.

Se agradeció el apoyo de otras personalidades como Raúl Rico González, Director General de Cultura Mazatlán; Federico Domínguez y Manrri Fuentevilla, de Proyecto Centro Histórico y Quirino Ordaz Coppel, Gobernador de Sinaloa, quien no pudo asistir al evento.

Momentos más tarde, Karen Souza regresó al escenario para regalar más canciones  al público porteño y ser despedida con fuertes aplausos.

Karen Souza overflows with talent and sensuality in dinner to benefit Centro Historico

Delicious gourmet dishes in a rich evening musicalized by the internationally known Argentine singer Karen Souza, were tasted this Wednesday at Plazuela Machado during the dinner of Cosinar benefiting Centro Historico as part of the activities of the Mazatlan Jazz Fest Chilo 2018.

As a first entry, the palates of the attendees were pampered with a crab cake bathed in yellow lemon honey and Dijon mustard with arugula salad and smoked cherry tomatoes, prepared by chef Marino Maganda.

Different personalities such as Joel Bouciéguez Lizárraga, Municipal President of Mazatlán; Raúl Rico González, General Director of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán; Alfredo Gómez Rubio, President of Proyecto Centro Historico and Julio Recinos, organizer of the Mazatlan Jazz Fest Chilo 2018, were present during this dinner offered to raise funds to improve the Centro Historico of Mazatlan.

The diners tasted a delicious lobster bisque with toasted brioche and mushroom duxelle, prepared by chef Luis Osuna. While the third course of the night arrived: jambalaya with noodles, squid and shrimp, prepared by the chef Diego Becerra, Argentine singer Karen Souza took the stage to overflow sensuality and talent through her repertoire.

Without a doubt, her show was the highlight of the night. Southern dessert cakes from chef Luis Osuna and songs like "My one and only love", "Full moon", "Personal Jesus" and "Strawberry fields forever", flooded the audience´s senses in this third edition of Cosinar dinner Pro Centro Historico.

Among other endearing covers of songs like "Do not forget about me", "I´m beginning to see the light", "Billie Jean" and "Creep", the night became more and more enjoyable for the hundreds of diners. They enjoyed two hours of good music and food in the company of their friends and family.

At the end of the program of the Argentine singer, Alfredo Gómez Rubio and Julio Recinos, invited the other three artists of the night to the stage: chefs Marino Maganda, Luis Osuna and Diego Becerra, to receive applause from the public for its excellent gastronomic touch.

They thanked other personalities such as Raúl Rico González, Director General of Cultura Mazatlán; Federico Domínguez and Manrri Fuentevilla, from Proyecto Centro Histórico and Quirino Ordaz Coppel, Governor of Sinaloa, who was unable to attend the event.

Moments later, Karen Souza returned to the stage to sing more songs to the Mazatlecan public and be let go with loud applause.
