La Gala Navideña, el evento más esperado del año cerrará con broche de oro el Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2017 con un mágico espectáculo en el que convergen talentosos músicos, cantantes, el Coro Ángela Peralta, bailarines, y entrañables personajes que crearán en el escenario una atmósfera de amor y reencuentro familiar al ritmo de clásicas canciones de Navidad.
Un nacimiento viviente, un árbol gigante que adorna el lobby del teatro, duendes que bajan a rapel por los balcones, y la interpretación de la música popular navideña de América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa, dibujarán un lienzo lleno de magia y de color.
Músicos de la Camerata Mazatlán, bajo la dirección del maestro Percival Álvarez; el Coro Ángela Peralta, dirigido por el maestro Antonio González, voces destacadas del canto lírico nacional como el tenor Andrés Carrillo, bailarines de la Escuela Municipal de Ballet Clásico a cargo de la maestra Zoila Fernández y la Compañía de Ballet de Mazatlán, revivirán a través de la música y la danza, el valor de la familia, la paz y armonía que debe reinar en la Tierra.
Habrá desde los tradicionales villancicos hasta canciones de invierno en inglés y español como “Jingle Bells”, “Santa Claus is coming to town”, “It´s the most wonderful time of the year”, “Rodolfo, el reno de la nariz roja” y “Noche de paz”.
El tenor Andrés Carrillo, originario de la Ciudad de Mexicali, Baja California, inició sus estudios musicales en el Conservatorio de la Orquesta de Baja California. Posteriormente, se trasladó al puerto de Mazatlán, donde cursó la Licenciatura en Canto en la Escuela Superior de Canto de Mazatlán, Sinaloa, bajo la instrucción de la Mtra. Martha Félix (Mezzosoprano), y el prestigiado director de orquesta Enrique Patrón de Rueda.
A lo largo de su carrera se ha presentado en los teatros y escenarios más importantes del país en galas operísticas, conciertos y producciones de ópera como La misa de seis y Turandot con la Opera de Bellas Artes y Artes, Tosca con OFUNAM, y Romeo y Julieta (OSSLA, 2016). Actualmente reside en el Distrito Federal, es ex-becario de la Sociedad Internacional de valores en el arte mexicano (SIVAM).

La Gala Navideña (Christmas Gala), the most anticipated event of the year, will conclude the Mazatlán Cultural Festival 2017 with a magical show in which talented musicians, singers, the Angela Peralta Choir, dancers and entertaining characters converge on the stage to create an atmosphere of love and family reunion to the rhythm of classic songs of Christmas.

A living nativity, a giant tree that adorns the lobby of the theater, elves that rappel down the balconies, and the interpretation of popular Christmas music from Latin America, the United States and Europe, will draw a canvas full of magic and color.
 
Musicians of the Camerata Mazatlán, under the direction of the maestro Percival Álvarez; the Angela Peralta Choir, directed by the maestro Antonio González, outstanding voices of national lyrical singing like tenor Andrés Carrillo, dancers of the Municipal School of Classic headed by maestra Zoila Fernández and the Ballet Company of Mazatlán, will revive the value of the family, and the peace and harmony that must reign on Earth through music and dance,.

There will be from the traditional carols to winter songs in English and Spanish like "Jingle Bells", "Santa Claus is coming to town", "It´s the most wonderful time of the year", "Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer" and "Silent Night".

Tenor Andrés Carrillo, originally from the City of Mexicali, Baja California, began his musical studies at the Conservatory of the Orchestra of Baja California. Later, he moved to the port of Mazatlán, where he studied a Degree in Singing at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Mazatlán, Sinaloa, under the instruction of the maestra Martha Félix (Mezzosoprano), and the prestigious orchestra conductor Enrique Patrón De Rueda.

Throughout his career he has appeared in the most important theaters and stages of the country in operatic galas, concerts and opera productions such as La Misa de 6 and Turandot with the Opera of Fine Arts and Arts, Tosca with OFUNAM, and Romeo and Julieta (OSSLA, 2016). He is currently residing in the Federal District (Mexico City), he is an ex-scholarship holder of the International Society of Securities in Mexican Art (SIVAM).

At the end of the show, the Christmas atmosphere will be extended to the lobby of the Theater, where piñatas will be broken and candy, atole, gorditas, buñuelos, punch and all kinds of “decembrito” (little December things) will be distributed.
