Poética de la Tierra a Juan Rufo

Exposición de Aliria Morales

Como un homenaje al escritor Juan Rulfo en el marco del  primer centenario de su natalicio –celebrado en  mayo de 2017-  la artista plástica Aliria Morales presentó su Poética de la tierra a Juan Rulfo. 

Inspirada en “El llano en llamas” y “Pedro Páramo”, obras cumbres del reconocido escritor mexicano, la exposición  será inaugurada el 16 de abril  a las 19:00 horas  en la Galería Ángela Peralta y podrá ser admirada por el público hasta el 19 de mayo.

La Temporada Primavera rinde homenaje a uno de los grandes maestros de la literatura hispanoamericana a través de la visión plástica de la artista jalisciense.

Aliria Morales (Ciudad de México, 1950), es pintora, muralista, grabadora y especialista en arte sanador y miembro del Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.

Sobre Poética de la Tierra a Juan Rulfo,   Susana Cato comparte:

La obra de esta exposición, alimentada a tragos de aguardiente inspiración por el autor de Pedro Páramo y otras maravillas, logra dar cuerpo y forma a esa intocable atmósfera de neblina, tierra, resignación y tristeza de la gran novela mexicana.  Parece usar tan sólo cinco colores: ocre, tierra, amarillo, cenizo, blanca bruma, destino negro y rojo sangre. Y caminando, perturbados, asombrados, en esta exposición, parecemos nosotros los seres de ficción, vestidos con colores brillantes y soltando carcajadas que poco respetan a estos expresivos difuntos.

Aquí están los cuadros. Y aquí en los cuadros, están las ánimas. ¿Son acaso la pluma y el pincel la única (hermosa) forma de que los pobres muertos sean escuchados? Aquí está la Poética de la Tierra, hecha pintura.  Aquí están los fragmentos de tiempo y el Lamento perenne. Aquí están tan vivas como en su cuento, la muerta, la huérfana y la Francisca.

Aquí está el venerado Rulfo y su alma que recorre lentamente esta exposición.

As a tribute to the writer Juan Rulfo in the framework of the first century of his birth -celebrated in May of 2017- the artist Aliria Morales presented her Poetry of the Earth to Juan Rulfo.

Inspired by "El llano en llamas" and "Pedro Páramo", masterpieces by the renowned Mexican writer, the exhibition will be inaugurated on April 16 at 7 pm at the  Ángela Peralta Gallery and may be admired by the public until the 19th of May.

The Spring Season pays homage to one of the great masters of Hispanic American literature through the fine arts vision of the artist from Jalisco.

Aliria Morales (Mexico City, 1950), is a painter, muralist, engraver and specialist in healing art and member of the Salon de Fine Art Mexicana.

About Poética de la Tierra to Juan Rulfo, Susana Cato shares:

The work of this exhibition, fed by shots of liquid inspiration by the author of Pedro Páramo and other wonders, manages to give body and form to that untouchable atmosphere of fog, earth, resignation and sadness of the great Mexican novel. It seems to use only five colors: ocher, earth, yellow, ash, white haze, black destiny and blood red. And walking, disturbed, amazed, in this exhibition, we look like the fictional beings, dressed in bright colors and letting out laughter and few respecting these expressive dead.

Here are the pictures, and here in the paintings, here are the souls. Are the pen and brush the only (beautiful) way for the poor dead are to be heard? Here is Poetics of the Earth, made into paintings. Here are the fragments of time and the Perennial Lament. Here they are as alive as in their story, the dead, the orphan and Francisca.
