Una hora antes, la avanzada comercial de patrocinadores del Carnaval calentará el ambiente con sorpresas y obsequios para los miles de espectadores que saturarán las calles del paseo costero.

Esta edición del Carnaval será un homenaje a los hombres y mujeres que con su creatividad e ingenio han nutrido la historia de la “Perla del Pacífico” y tendrá como estandartes las figuras de Pedro Infante, Lola Beltrán, Cruz Lizárraga, Genaro Estrada, Martiniano Carvajal, Winnie Farmer, Enrique Alonso, Lupita Castro, José Ángel Espinoza “Ferrusquilla”, Ramón López Alvarado, La “Nana” Ramírez, Guillermo Sarabia, Rigo Lewis y otros distinguidos mazatlecos.

El mango, el pez espada, el camarón y el venado, serán los cuatro símbolos que acompañarán a la Reina del Carnaval, Reina de los Juegos Florales, Reina Infantil y Rey de la Alegría, en las respectivas secciones del desfile que homenajeará a aquellos “patasaladas” que se han ganado un lugar en la historia.

Bandas de música regional mexicana y coloridas y alegres comparsas también se encargarán de que la llama de esta fiesta brille con fuerza este domingo, y también, el martes 13 de febrero, día en el que el los carros alegóricos realizarán su segundo y último viaje por el malecón para despedir al Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2018.

Get ready for the First Carnaval Parade 2018!

This Sunday, the first parade of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018 "Patasalada: the Circus of the Talents" will tour the Malecon starting at 5:30 pm to create a colossal traveling fiesta of music, dance and superb floats that allude to the most prominent cultural aspects of Mazatlecan history.

One hour before, the commercial sponsors of Carnaval will warm the atmosphere with surprises and gifts for the thousands of spectators that will saturate the streets of the coastal promenade.

This edition of Carnaval will be a tribute to the men and women who with their creativity and ingenuity have nurtured the history of the "Pearl of the Pacific" and will have as standards the figures of Pedro Infante, Lola Beltrán, Cruz Lizárraga, Genaro Estrada, Martiniano Carvajal , Winnie Farmer, Enrique Alonso, Lupita Castro, Jose Angel Espinoza "Ferrusquilla", Ramon Lopez Alvarado, La "Nana" Ramirez, Guillermo Sarabia, Rigo Lewis and other distinguished Mazatlecos.

The mango, the swordfish, the shrimp and the deer will be the four symbols that will accompany the Queen of Carnaval, Queen of the Floral Prize of Poetry, Child Queen and King of Joy, in the respective sections of the parade that will honor those "patasaladas" that have earned a place in history.
