Acompañados por su maestra Mónica Osuna, Directora de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Cultura, los jóvenes Ximena Ramírez, Katherin Huerta, Gabriel Farvarshchuk, David Romero, Erubiel Lizárraga, Damián Gutiérrez, Gustavo Félix y Javier Brito, viajaron este sábado a la La Paz, Baja California Sur, para encontrarse con instrumentistas de los estados de Sonora, Baja California y Baja California Sur.
El objetivo de este encuentro es crear entre todos los músicos una orquesta de 130 músicos, comenta la directora Mónica Osuna, quien asegura que para los estudiantes es importante vivir este tipo de experiencias y recuerda como un evento similar le brindó la posibilidad de estudiar música en la Ciudad de México.
“Uno nunca sabe lo que puede suceder en este tipo de eventos, ni qué tipo de oportunidades trae consigo. Si yo no hubiera ido a un encuentro de ese tipo en Ensenada, Baja California, no hubiera ganado una beca que me dio el Director de la Orquesta Filarmónica de México para estudiar en la Ciudad de México”.
La maestra Osuna está muy orgullosa de que de sus ocho estudiantes postulados para el encuentro, fueran aceptados y asegura que el viaje será una grata experiencia en su formación académica.
“Se trata de que los muchachos puedan convivir con otros jóvenes que tengan niveles incluso mayor al de ellos, que se den cuenta que hay otros jóvenes haciendo lo mismo en otras ciudades”.
De los ocho jóvenes, el más experimentado es el cellista Gabriel Kobylyansky Farvarshchuk, quien ya ha vivido antes la experiencia de representar a la Escuela de Música del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, fuera de Sinaloa.
“Hace como tres años viajé a Tlaxcala y fue bastante interesante. Conoces a varias personas que tocan en diferente nivel al tuyo. Es una experiencia donde conoces instrumentos nuevos y tocas en una orquesta muchísimo más grande de lo que acostumbras. Espero aprender muchísimo en este también”, afirma Gabriel.
Para los instrumentistas David Uriel Romero Gutiérrez y Damián Gutiérrez, la experiencia que están por vivir representa una emoción todavía mayor, pues es la primera vez que cruzarán la frontera del puerto para tocar en un evento tan importante con gente que comparte su pasión por la música.

They will represent Mazatlan in the Northwest Symphonic Festival
Eight young talents from the School of Music of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, will represent the port during the Sinfónico del Noroeste Festival, La Paz 2017, to be held on November 25.
Accompanied by their teacher Mónica Osuna, Director of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Cultura, the young Ximena Ramírez, Katherin Huerta, Gabriel Farvarshchuk, David Romero, Erubiel Lizárraga, Damián Gutiérrez, Gustavo Félix and Javier Brito, traveled this Saturday to La Paz, Baja California Sur, to meet instrumentalists from the states of Sonora, Baja California and Baja California Sur.
The objective of this meeting is to create an orchestra of 130 musicians among all the musicians, says director Mónica Osuna, who assures that for students it is important to have this type of experience and remember how a similar event offered the possibility of studying music in Mexico City.
"You never know what can happen in this type of event, or what kind of opportunities it brings. If I had not gone to such a meeting in Ensenada, Baja California, I would not have won a scholarship from the Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico to study in Mexico City."
Maestra Osuna is very proud that of her eight students, who were nominated for the meeting, they were accepted and she assures that the trip will be a pleasant experience in her academic formation.
"It´s about that the kids, so they can be among other young people who have levels even greater than theirs, who realize that there are other young people doing the same in other cities."
Of the eight youngsters, the most experienced is the cellist Gabriel Kobylyansky Farvarshchuk, who has already hadthe experience of representing the School of Music of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, outside of Sinaloa.
"About three years ago, I traveled to Tlaxcala and it was quite interesting. You know several people who play at different levels of yours. It is an experience where you learn new instruments and play in an orchestra much bigger than you are used to. I hope to learn a lot in this too, "says Gabriel.
For instrumentalists David Uriel Romero Gutiérrez and Damián Gutiérrez, the experience they are about to have represents an even greater emotion, because it is the first time they will go outside of the city to play in such an important event with people who share their passion for music
