Este sábado en El Cinematógrafo “Nuestra hermana pequeña” de Hirokazu Kore-Eda
Con la exhibición de la película “Nuestra hermana pequeña”, del reconocido cineasta japonés Horikazu Kpore-Eda, este sábado inicia en El Cinematógrafo del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, el Ciclo “Cineasta Orientales”, una muestra de las mejores obras de los más grandes directores de la región.


La función inicia a las 18:00 horas y la entrada es libre para todo público, frente a la Plazuela machado. Cupo limitado.

Inspirado en el comic manga “Unimachi Diary”, Kore-Eda realiza un filme admirable de rica poesía visual que enfatiza en los aspectos más triviales de la vida, en los placeres de aprender a vivir, los reencuentros y la reconciliación familiar, los recuerdos compartidos y los secretos revelados. Sachi, Yoshiko y Chika son tres hermanas que viven en la casa de su abuela.

Un día reciben la noticia de la muerte de su padre, que las abandonó cuando eran pequeñas.  Durante el funeral conocen a la hija que su padre tuvo 13 años atrás, Suzu. Las cuatro hermanas empiezan a vivir juntas y pronto descubren sus más profundos lazos consanguíneos.  Por su extraordinaria calidad artística, este filme formó parte de la Selección Oficial de Festival de Cannes y del Festival de San Sebastián 2015, en el que obtuvo el Premio del Público.

Hirokazu Kore- Eda se ha consolidado como uno de los cineastas japoneses contemporáneos más reconocidos en Occidente. En 1995 triunfa en el Festival de Venecia con la película “Mabarosi”, un impactante drama familiar que marca su temática recurrente, la memoria, la muerte y el hecho de asumir las pérdidas, con un estilo visual de largas y estáticas tomas.

Entre sus películas más reconocidas están: “Caminando” (08), Premio Astor de Oro  Mejor Película en el Festival de Mar de Plata 2008; “Muñeca de aire” (09) y “Milagro” (11). En 2013 es catapultado a la fama internacional con su película “De tal padre, tal hijo”, obteniendo el Premio del Jurado en el Festival de Cannes.

This Saturday in El Cinematógrafo "Our Little Sister" by Hirokazu Kore - Eda
With the showing of the film "Our Little Sister", renowned Japanese filmmaker Horikazu Kpore-Eda, in the cinema of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, the "Oriental filmmaker" cycle begins an exhibition of the best works of the greatest directors in the region.

Hirokazu Koreeeda has established himself as one of the most renowned contemporary Japanese filmmakers in the West. In 1995, he triumphed at the Venice Film Festival with the film "Mabarosi", a powerful family drama that marks his recurrent theme, memory, death and the fact of assuming losses, with a long and static visual style.

Among his best-known films are: "Walking" (08), Astor Award of gold best film at the Festival de Mar de Plata 2008; "Air Doll" (09) and "Miracle" (11). In 2013 he was catapulted to international fame with his film "Like Parent, Like Child", obtaining the award of the Judges at the Festival de Cannes.
