El pasado viernes por la noche, el músico brasileño creó una atmósfera flexible y acogedora al hablar con el público desde el principio y explicar que el programa estaba compuesto por piezas de las escuelas barrocas y románticas. Después, la música se encargó de hablar con brío y parsimonia a través de la Obertura para “lo frate´namorato”, de Giovanni Pergolessi.

Luego, la elaborada y majestuosa “Suite orquestal N°2”, de Johann Sebastian Bach tuvo como centro a la flautista rusa María Vakórina, que ataviada en un hermoso vestido negro creó una atmósfera llena de elegancia, armonía y exquisitez que evocó los salones aristocráticos del siglo 18 con sus diversos estilos dancísticos: rondeau, zarabanda, bourrée y polonesas.

Tras el intermedio se presentó una de las piezas más importantes del recital: “Crisantemi” de Giacomo Puccini, obra dramática, pasional y densa que permitió apreciar cómo los violines, contrabajo, violonchelos, violas y contrabajo, creaban un robusto y rico cuerpo sonoro en el que destacó la ejecución de la maestra Nina Farvarschuk.

Como pieza final “Holberg Suite, Op. 40” de Edvar Grieg,  ofreció instantes vibrantes, elegantes y delicados para dar un cierre redondo en el que la Camerata Mazatlán asombró por  su versatilidad y dominio técnico de la mano de un Lanfranco Marcelletti Jr.

Apasionado y cálido, el director invitado no dudó en agradecer a los músicos por su trabajo y al público su asistencia y sus prolongados aplausos.  En recompensa la Camerata volvió a regalar  “Crisantemi” de G. Puccini.

An exquisite and passionate musical evening with the Camerata Mazatlan

La Camerata Mazatlán offered an elegant and intense concert with the program "Chrysanthemums and Trumpets", under the direction of maestro Lanfranco Marcelletti Jr. in the Angela Peralta Theater, as part of the activities of Spring Season 2017 of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan.

On Friday night, the Brazilian musician created a flexible and welcoming atmosphere to talk to the public from the beginning and explain that the program was composed of parts of both the Baroque and romantic schools. Later, the music brought him to speak with passion and moderation about the Overture to “lo frate´namorato of Giovanni Pergolessi.

Then, the elaborate and majestic "Suite Orchestral N ° 2", by Johann Sebastian Bach centered around Russian flutist María Vakórina, adorned in a beautiful black dress creating an atmosphere full of elegance, harmony and exquisiteness that evoked the aristocratic salons of the 18th century with its different dance styles: Rondeau, Sarabande, Bourrée and Polonaises.

 
After the intermimssion one of the most important pieces of the concert was performed: "Crisantemi" by Giacomo Puccini, a dramatic, passionate and dense work that allowed the audience to appreciate how the violins, double bass, cellos, violas and bass, created a rich and robust sound which highlighted the implementation of maestra Nina Farvarschuk.

As final piece, "Holberg Suite, Op. 40” by Edvard Grieg, offered vibrant, elegant and delicate moments to give closure and the Camerata Mazatlan amazed the audience with its versatility and technical mastery at the hand of a Lanfranco Marcelletti Jr.

Passionate and warm, the guest conductor did not hesitate to thank the musicians for their work and the public for their attendance and their sustained applause. They were reward by the Camerata performing "Crisantemi" by G. Puccini.
