La soprano Karen Barraza (Mazatlán); el barítono Omar Lara (DF), la mezzosoprano Vanessa Jara Robles (Guadalajara) y la soprano Mariana Sofía García Rodríguez (de Torreón y alumna de la Escuela de Música y Canto de Cultura Mazatlán), dejarán ver el crecimiento profesional alcanzado bajo la guía del maestro Enrique Patrón de Rueda.

El nombre de este prestigiado artista sinaloense, impulsor de la ópera en México y artífice de los cursos de repertorio perfeccionamiento operístico impartidos en las aulas de la Escuela Suprior de Música y Canto del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, se ha vuelto un referente de calidad y triunfo en los concursos de canto lírico.

Cada vez son más los finalistas y ganadores del “Carlo Morelli” y el Concurso Internacional de Canto Sinaloa, los que deciden prepararse en Mazatlán bajo la guía del maestro Patrón de Rueda, antes de competir en las plataformas más importantes para la proyección de  cantantes líricos en México.

La joven soprano sinaloense Karen Barraza Lizárraga fue aceptada en la Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) de Philadelphia, Estados Unidos y ya obtuvo el tercer lugar en el Concurso Nacional de Canto “Carlo Morelli”. Es miembro del Taller de Ópera de Sinaloa y ha trabajado con maestros y coaches nacionales e internacionales como Rolando Garza, Yulia Levín, el tenor Francisco Araiza, el maestro Enrique Patrón de Rueda, Ernesto Aboites y Andrés Sarre.

Omar Lara es ganador del Primer Premio de Canto Operístico del Estado de México 2017; Primer Lugar en el VII Concurso Internacional de Canto Sinaloa y Premio Ópera de Bellas Artes en su VI certamen; Premio Mercedes Mendoza en el Concurso Nacional de Canto Fanny Anitúa 2014, entre otros.   En 2013 debutó en Cortona, Italia, cantando Don Alfonso en “Cosi fan Tutte” de Mozart en el Teatro Signorelli bajo la batuta de Ari Pelto.

La intérprete Mariana Sofía García Rodríguez es originaria de Torreón, Coahuila. Actualmente es  alumna de la Escuela de Música y Canto del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán; bajo la estricta formación del artista mazatleco Enrique Patrón de Rueda,  la artista de 22 años de edad, se abre camino en el difícil mundo de la ópera.

Apenas en mayo de este año,  ganó una beca por 60 mil pesos otorgada por San Miguel Institute Bel Canto y el Premio de 20 mil pesos otorgado por el Ayuntamiento de Culiacán, por su brillante participación en el IX Concurso Internacional de Canto Sinaloa 2017.

La mezzosoprano  Vanessa Jara, de Guadalajara, ha sido miembro del Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes, del Taller de la Ópera de Sinaloa y tiene entre los maestros que han contribuido a su desarrollo profesional, al maestro Enrique Patrón de Rueda. Mantiene una constante presencia en los escenarios de México y en concursos de bel canto.

Students of the maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda go to the finals of "Carlo Morelli"

Four students from the repertoire and operatic training courses given at the School of Music and Singing of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, moved forward to the grand finals of the "Carlo Morelli" National Singing Competition to be held on Sunday, August 27th at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.

Soprano Karen Barraza (Mazatlán), Baritone Omar Lara (DF), mezzo-soprano Vanessa Jara Robles (Guadalajara) and soprano Mariana Sofía García Rodríguez (from Torreón and student of the School of Music and Singing of Mazatlán), will show the professional growth they have achieved under the guidance of maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda.

The name of this prestigious Sinaloan artist, promoter of opera in Mexico and creator of the operatic repertoire courses taught in the classrooms of the Superior School of Music and Song of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, has become a reference of quality and triumph in the contests of lyrical song.

There are more and more finalists and winners of the "Carlo Morelli" and the Sinaloa maestro Patron De Rueda, before competing on the most important platforms for the projection of lyrical singers in Mexico.

The young Sinaloan soprano, Karen Barraza Lizárraga, was accepted in the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) of Philadelphia, the United States, and has already obtained third place in the "Carlo Morelli" National Singing Contest. She is a member of the Sinaloa Opera Workshop and has worked with national and international teachers and coaches such as Rolando Garza, Yulia Levín, tenor Francisco Araiza, maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda, Ernesto Aboites and Andrés Sarre.

Omar Lara is the winner of the First Prize of Operative Singing of the State of Mexico 2017; First Place in the VII Sinaloa International Competition of Singing and the Opera Prize of Fine Arts in its VI contest; and the Mercedes Mendoza Award in the Fanny Anitúa National Singing Contest 2014, among others. In 2013 he made his debut in Cortona, Italy, singing Don Alfonso in "Cosi fan Tutte" by Mozart, at the Signorelli Theater under the baton of Ari Pelto.

Singer Mariana Sofía García Rodríguez is originally from Torreón, Coahuila. She is currently a student at the School Music and Singing School of the Instituto de Cultura; under the strict training of Mazatlecan artist Enrique Patrón De Rueda, the 22-year-old artist makes his way into the difficult world of opera.

In May of this year, she won a scholarship for 60 thousand pesos granted by San Miguel Institute of Bel Canto and the Prize of 20 thousand pesos granted by the city council of Culiacán, for her brilliant participation in the IX Sonaloan International Singing Contest 2017.

Mezzo-soprano Vanessa Jara, from Guadalajara, has been a member of the Fine Arts Opera Studio, of the Sinaloa Opera Workshop and has among the teachers who have contributed to her professional development, maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda. Dhe maintains a constant presence on the stages of Mexico and in competitions of bel canto.
