Joven y multipremiado valor de la ópera nacional, Dhyana Arom se mete en las entrañas de un personaje conmovedor que todas las sopranos quisieran interpretar, pero que  quizá muchas se queden en el intento, por la complejidad de las emociones y circunstancias que la  envuelven.

“Es un papel hermoso con música (del italiano Giacomo Puccini) que te toca el alma, cantarlo en esta ciudad que es igual de hermosa me encanta, es un sueño hecho realidad”, expresa Dhyana Arom.

Esta ópera musicalmente es inspiradora y poderosa, llega a tocar cada fibra del cuerpo de quien la escucha; a su vez es compleja, vocalmente, la composición, la orquesta y  su trágica historia, agrega la cantante. 

A Suor Angelica su propia familia la obligó a tomar los hábitos por haberse convertido en madre fuera del matrimonio; en la soledad del encierro, ella se consagra a la virgen y solo vive en espera de volver a ver a  su hijo, al que solo conoció al nacer. 

Musicalmente el final es desgarrador  y esperanzador al mismo tiempo.

Desde hace seis meses que recibió la invitación para cantar Suor Angélica, Dhyana Arom se ha preparado para interpretar un papel lleno de retos. 

Anteriormente ha participado en clases y concursos que dirige el maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda, pero será la primera vez que colabore en una ópera junto a él, hecho que hace más valioso este sueño.

Dhyana Arom desea  que el público al escuchar la música y las voces del elenco, regrese a su casa con una bella reflexión sobre la esperanza.

En Suor Angelica participa la Camerata Mazatlán, músicos de la OSSLA, el Coro Guillermo Sarabia y el Coro Infantil del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán bajo la dirección artística de Enrique Patrón De Rueda; la dirección de escena es de Oswaldo Martín Del Campo. 

Será la segunda ocasión que la destacada figura joven de la ópera nacional comparta el escenario con la maestra María Luisa Tamez, quien interpreta el papel de la Zia Principessa.

Considera que trabajar con María Luisa Tamez es enriquecedor en estos momentos de su vida, pues es una de las figuras líricas más importantes de México y un modelo de éxito a seguir en su corta pero creciente carrera artística, por eso cada momento que pasa junto a la artista consagrada,  es una lección más para su trayectoria como cantante de ópera. 

Dhyana Arom agrega que el nivel lírico a nivel nacional ha incrementado y al margen del entusiasmo de las instituciones culturales por crear nuevas propuestas operísticas o temporadas, existe gran inquietud por desarrollar proyectos independientes.

“Eso es lo más valioso, a eso tenemos que aspirar,  es lo que tenemos que buscar”, subraya.

Dhyana Arom came to Mazatlan and along with maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda, rehearsed Suor Angelica, the character of her dreams that she began to study six months ago in Mexico City.

Young and multi-prize winner through national opera, Dhyana Arom gets into the heart of a touching character that all sopranos would like to interpret, but perhaps many will not, because of the complexity of the emotions and circumstances that surround it.

"It´s a beautiful role with music (Italian Giacomo Puccini) that touches your soul, singing it in this city that is just as beautiful, I love it, it´s a dream come true," says Dhyana Arom.

This opera is musically inspiring and powerful, it touches every fiber of the body of the listener; in turn it is complex, vocally, the composition, the orchestra and its tragic history, adds the singer.

Her own family forced Suor Angelica to become a nun, having become a mother out of wedlock; in the solitude of the confinement, she consecrates herself to the virgin and only lives hoping to see her son, whom she only knew when he was born.

Musically the ending is heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time.

For six months since receiving the invitation to sing Suor Angelica, Dhyana Arom has prepared to play a role full of challenges.

Previously she has participated in classes and competitions directed by the maestro Enrique Patron De Rueda, but it will be the first time that she has collaborated in an opera with him, in fact that makes this dream more valuable.

Dhyana Arom wants the audience to hear the music and voices of the cast, return home with a beautiful reflection of hope.

Participating in Suor Angelica is the Camerata Mazatlán, musicians of the OSSLA, the Guillermo Sarabia Choir, and the Children´s Choir of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán under the artistic direction of Enrique Patrón De Rueda; and the stage direction of Oswaldo Martín Del Campo.

It will be the second time that the outstanding young figure of national opera shares the stage with maestra Maria Luisa Tamez, who plays the role of Zia Principessa.

She believes that working with María Luisa Tamez is enriching at this moment in her life, as she is one of the most important lyrical figures in Mexico and a model of success to follow in her short but growing artistic career, so every moment that she spends near the consecrated artist, is one more lesson for her career as an opera singer.

Dhyana Arom adds that the lyrical level has increased nationally, and aside from the enthusiasm of cultural institutions for creating new operatic proposals or seasons, there is great work being done to develop independent projects.

"That´s the most valuable thing, that´s what we have to aim for, that´s what we have to look for," she says.
