Lanfranco Marcelleti, solista y director huésped

Figura relevante en la dirección orquestal en Europa y el continente americano, el brasileño  Lanfranco Marcelleti debuta en Mazatlán  como solista y director huésped en “Crisantemos y Trompeta”, gran concierto de la Temporada Primavera 2017.   El músico de ascendente trayectoria dirigirá  a la Camerata Mazatlán en un programa integrado por I cristantemi de Giacomo Puccini; Concierto para trompeta No.1 en mi bemol del compositor  Johann Wilhelm Hertel y Stabat mater de Giovani Battista Pergolesi.
 
Stabat Mater (en latín Estaba la Madrees es una plegaria que comienza con las palabras Stabat Mater dolorosa (estaba la Madre sufriendo) y medita sobre el sufrimiento de María, Madre de Jesús durante su crucifixión.  Esta composición literaria ha sido musicalizada por cerca de 200 compositores de distintas épocas, género y estilos musicales.
 
Marcelleti es director y pianista de origen brasileño. Inició su formación musical en su natal Recife.  En Europa continuó su preparación en la Musik Hochschule de Viena y en Zurich.   En 1990 volvió a Brasil y comenzó sus estudios de dirección de orquesta con Ronaldo Bologna.  
 
En 1994 recibió una beca para estudiar en la Universidad de Yale y cuatro años después ganó el primer premio en el Segundo Concurso para Jóvenes Directores de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile. Ha dirigido en Brasil, España, Argentina, Chile, Rusia e Italia y actualmente trabaja y reside en Estados Unidos.
 
Colabora con la Sinfónica de São Paulo, Sinfónica de Chile, Sinfónica del Teatro de Boloña y Sinfónica de Galicia.  En 2006 debutó en Londres con la Haydn Chamber Orchestra

A relevant figure in orchestral direction in Europe and the American continent,  Brazilian Lanfranco Marcelleti debuts in Mazatlan as a soloist and guest director in "Chrysanthemums and Trumpet", one of the great concerts of Spring Season 2017. The musician´s upward trajectory will lead the Camerata Mazatlan in a program consisting of (I) Cristantemi by Giacomo Puccini; Trumpet Concerto No.1 in E flat by composer Johann Wilhelm Hertel, and Stabat Mater by Giovani Battista Pergolesi.

Stabat Mater (in Latin ‘the mother was there’, is a prayer beginning with the painful words, the mother was suffering, and meditates on the suffering of Mary, mother of Jesus during his crucifixion.) This literary composition has been scored by nearly 200 composers from different periods, genders and musical styles.

Marcelleti is a director and pianist of Brazilian origin. He began his musical training in his native Recife. In Europe, he continued his preparation at the Musik Hochschule in Vienna and Zurich. In 1990 he returned to Brazil and began his conducting studies with Ronaldo Bologna.

In 1994 he received a grant to study at Yale University and four years later won the first prize in the second competition for young directors of the Symphony Orchestra of Chile. He has conducted in Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Russia and Italy and currently works and resides in the United States.

He collaborates with the Symphony Orchestra of São Paulo, the Symphony of Chile, the Theater Orchestra of Bologna and the Galicia Symphony Orchestra. In 2006, he made his debut in London with the Haydn Chamber Orchestra.
