Como estudiante de secundaria y, años más tarde, candidata a Reina de la Cámara de Comercio, Daniela probó las mieles de la victoria en sus primeros certámenes de belleza. Pasó el tiempo, cambió su residencia a Culiacán y el destino la trajo de regreso al puerto para buscar a los 25 años aquel sueño que le provocó  suspiros de adolescente.

“Ahora que vivo la experiencia como candidata puedo ver el Carnaval de una manera diferente. Disfruto mucho tener contacto con la gente,  regalarles una sonrisa y que me respondan con la misma satisfacción. Es una sensación tan bonita que me emociona mucho el pensar que puedo ser Reina”. 

Daniela afirma que, aunque las mazatlecas son mujeres fiesteras, también son muy trabajadoras y perseverantes con todo lo que hacen. Orgullosa de las raíces de su tierra, buscaría comprometerse como Reina del Carnaval mostrándole al mundo que Mazatlán es grande por muchas cosas más que por su máxima fiesta.

 “Me gustaría cumplir con la tradición.  Siempre con una buena actitud, platicarle a la gente lo que verdaderamente es Mazatlán: la importancia del Carnaval para nosotros, sin dejar de lado otras cosas importantes como su gastronomía o el gran momento cultural por el que pasa en la actualidad”.

Por último, agradeció al Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán por brindarle a ella y sus compañeras la oportunidad de vivir la bonita experiencia de ser Candidatas a Reina del Carnaval y representar a la tierra que tanto aman.

Daniela in search of the maximum crown

Since she was little, Daniela López Caballero has admired the majesty of the floats, the dazzling coronations and the magic of the Naval Combat of the Mazatlan International Carnaval; Today, she seeks to become a queen and write her name in the history of the city´s top fiesta.

As a high school student and, years later, a candidate for Queen of the Chamber of Commerce, Daniela tasted the honeys of victory in her first beauty contests. Time passed, she changed her residence to Culiacán and destiny brought her back to the port to look for the 25 years dream that she had as a teenager.

"Now that I am a candidate, I can see Carnaval in a different way. I enjoy having contact with people, giving them a smile and responding with the same satisfaction. It´s such a beautiful feeling and I´m very excited to think that I could be Queen."

Daniela affirms that, although Mazatlecas are partying women, they are also hardworking and persevering with everything they do. Proud of the roots of her land, she would seek to commit herself as Queen of Carnaval by showing the world that Mazatlan is great for many more things than just its maximum celebration.

 "I would like to comply with the tradition. Always with a good attitude, to tell people what Mazatlan really is: the importance of Carnaval for us, without neglecting other important things such as its gastronomy or the great cultural moments its going through today."

Finally, she thanked the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan for giving her and her companions the opportunity to experience the beauty of being Candidates for the Queen of Carnaval and representing the land they love so much.
