Esto bajo una romántica velada con la actuación estelar de Il Divo y el acompañamiento musical de la Orquesta Sinfónica Sinaloa de las Artes y la Camerata Mazatlán.

La orquesta dirigida por Miguel Salmón del Real, enalteció en la primera parte del espectáculo a los talentos  mazatlecos y a los símbolos que dan identidad a los patasaladas: la cultura y las artes, la alegría de su gente, el carnaval, sus hermosos paisajes naturales, y las principales actividades económicas.

Ante miles de personas que llenaron el estadio Teodoro Mariscal y en presencia del Gobernador de Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel y el Presidente de Mazatlán, Joel Bouciéguez, acompañados por sus respectivas esposas,  Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz y Leticia de Bouciéguez, la esencia porteña sentó sus reales en el escenario a través de los sonidos de la orquesta y brillantes coreografías de Guillermo Carrillo, Ernesto Crespo y Javier Arcadia, quienes compilaron las grandes pasiones de los mazatlecos, la emoción por el beisbol,  el encuentro social, la pesca y la vida en el mar, la música y la danza al ritmo de El Sinaloense.

El elenco estuvo formado por artistas porteños que dan vida a compañías que hoy llenan de orgullo a los patasaladas como la Escuela Profesional de Danza Contemporánea, la Compañía  Ballet Clásico de Mazatlán,  alumnos de la Escuela Municipal de Ballet y el Ballet Folclórico de Cultura, todos bajo la dirección artística de Guillermo Carrillo.

La coreografía “Beisbol con los venados” recordó como el llamado Rey de los Deportes ha dado glorias en el terreno deportivo a los porteños desde la fundación de Los Venados de Mazatlán.

En “El Parque” y “Marineros”, los bailarines homenajearon el estilo de vida de los patasaladas, marcados por los sones de la tambora, su carácter hospitalario, la belleza de las playas, la industria turística y la pesca, que dan identidad al puerto.

Al mismo tiempo que los bailarines interpretaban  “Mi música y la danza”, los espectadores observaban proyecciones sobre lugares como la Plazuela Machado, el Centro Histórico y su arquitectura neoclásica con rasgos tropicales y los atardeceres que hacen del puerto uno de los destinos turísticos más visitados de México.

Forjadores de una tradición cultural que da identidad a la ciudad, personajes como Antonio López Sáenz, Antonio Haas, Juan José Rodríguez, Enrique Patrón De Rueda, Zoila Fernández, Salvador Lizárraga, Armando Nava,  José Angel Espinosa “Ferrusquilla” y Luis Pérez Meza, entre otros, recibieron el reconocimiento del público durante el inicio de “Mi música y la danza”, una entrañable coreografía acompañada con imágenes sobre el Teatro Ángela Peralta. 

No podía faltar  “El Sinaloense”, interpretado por alumnos del Ballet Folklórico del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán, pieza que mostró el espíritu alegre  de los mazatlecos.

Para acompañar a la Reina Sofía durante su coronación aparecieron en el escenario las princesas reales: Estefanía, Ana Paola y Elsie,  quienes flanquearon a la soberana de los juegos florales al recibir sus atributos reales de manos de Maricela Guerrero Reyes, poeta laureada.

La Reina Absoluta de las Artes en esta 121 edición del Carnaval de Mazatlán, entregó a la ganadora del Premio de Poesía Clemencia Isaura 2018, la Flor Natural y un premio de 80 mil pesos, como estímulo por haber ganado el concurso con su poemario “¿Cómo en una lengua precisa, anémona?.  Una lluvia de fuegos artificiales coronó la noche e iluminó  el cielo en señal de que la fiesta apenas comenzaba.

Tras un breve intermedio, Il Divo apareció junto a Sofía I, para iniciar con una emotiva interpretación de “My Heart Will Go On” de Celine Dion y luego continuar con un entrañable espectáculo de casi dos horas en el que combinaron su peculiar estilo con los sonidos de la OSSLA  y la Camerata Mazatlán.

Seductores y siempre dispuestos a interactuar con el público esta noche Urs Bühler, de Suiza; David Miller de Estados Unidos y Carlos Marín, de España, disculparon la ausencia de su compañero Sébastien Izambard, pero prometieron una noche inolvidable en la que recorrieron  lo mejor de su música durante catorce años de trayectoria.

Las luces cálidas sobre el escenario que simuló una carpa de circo, dieron un toque de pasión al recinto que vibró con un nutrido repertorio de temas clásicos como: “Unchained Melody” y “Melancoly”, con los cuales Il Divo ha vendido millones de discos a lo largo del mundo y ha logrado entrar al Libro Guinness de los Récords como el proyecto internacional de pop de mayor éxito comercial de la historia.

La versatilidad, el romanticismo, el alcance vocal del trío y el detalle de regalar una rosa a la Reina Sofía, fueron piezas claves para que Il Divo  lograra tatuar su nombre en el corazón del público patasalada.

 “Bésame mucho” de Consuelo Velázquez, “Quizas, quizás, quizás” de Osvaldo Farrés y “Por una cabeza” de Carlos Gardel, conformaron un bloque de canciones latinoamericanas en la voz  de Il Divo.

En su primera noche en Mazatlán no podían faltar  éxitos musicales como “Hallelujah” de Leonard Cohen y un final estelarizado con la interpretación de “The impossible dream” de Mitch Leigh; “Volver a mí” y “A mi manera”; el público agradecido les brindó su cariño y efusivos aplausos.

Mazatlecan pride in the Coronation of Sofia I

Maricela Guerrero Reyes, winner of the Clemencia Isaura Award for Poetry 2018, crowned Sofia I, Queen of the Floral Prize of Poetry of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlan 2018, on a romantic evening with the starring performance of Il Divo and the musical accompaniment of the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata Mazatlán.

The orchestra conducted by Miguel Salmón del Real, in the first part of the show, exalted Mazatlecan talents and symbols that give identity to patasaladas: culture and the arts, the joy of its people, Carnaval, its beautiful natural landscapes, and main economic activities.

Before thousands of people who filled the Teodoro Mariscal stadium and in the presence of the Governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the President of Mazatlan, Joel Bouciéguez, accompanied by their respective wives, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz and Leticia de Bouciéguez, the Mazatlecan essence gave a seat to their royalty on the stage through the sounds of the orchestra and brilliant choreographies of Guillermo Carrillo, Ernesto Crespo and Javier Arcadia, who compiled the great passions of the Mazatlecans, the emotion for baseball, social encounter, fishing and life in the sea, music and dance to the rhythm of El Sinaloense.

The cast was made up of artists from Mazatlan who give life to companies that today fill patasaladas with pride, such as the Professional School of Contemporary Dance, the Classic Ballet Company of Mazatlán, students of the Municipal School of Ballet and the Folkloric Ballet of Cultuae, all under the artistic direction of Guillermo Carrillo.

The choreography "Baseball with the deer" recalled how the so-called King of Sports has given glories in the sports field to locals since the founding of Los Venados de Mazatlán.

In "El Parque" and "Marineros", the dancers honored the lifestyle of the patasaladas, marked by the sounds of the tambora, its hospitable character, the beauty of the beaches, the tourist industry and fishing, that give identity to the port.

At the same time that the dancers performed "My music and dance", the spectators watched projections on places like the Plazuela Machado, the Historical Center and its neoclassical architecture with tropical features and the sunsets that make the port one of the most visited tourist destinations from Mexico.

Forgers of a cultural tradition that gives identity to the city, people like Antonio López Sáenz, Antonio Haas, Juan José Rodríguez, Enrique Patrón De Rueda, Zoila Fernández, Salvador Lizárraga, Armando Nava, José Angel Espinosa "Ferrusquilla" and Luis Pérez Meza, among others, received public recognition during the beginning of "Mi música y la danza", an endearing choreography accompanied by images about the Ángela Peralta Theater.

You could not miss "El Sinaloense", performed by students of the Folkloric Ballet of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan, a piece that showed the joyful spirit of the Mazatlan people.

To accompany Queen Sofía during her coronation, the real princesses appeared on the stage: Estefanía, Ana Paola and Elsie, who flanked the sovereign of the Floral Prize of Poetry by receiving her royal attributes from the hands of Maricela Guerrero Reyes, poet laureate.

The Absolute Queen of the Arts in this 121st edition of Carnaval Mazatlan, awarded the winner of the Clemency Isaura Poetry Prize 2018, the Natural Flower and a prize of 80 thousand pesos, as a stimulus for having won the contest with her poems "¿Cómo en una lengua precisa, anémona?". A shower of fireworks crowned the night and illuminated the sky as a sign that the party was just beginning.

After a brief intermission, Il Divo appeared with Sofia I, to start with an emotional interpretation of "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion and then continue with a charming show of almost two hours in which they combined their differnt style with the sounds of OSSLA and the Camerata Mazatlán.

Seductive and always willing to interact with the public tonight Urs Bühler, from Switzerland; David Miller of the United States and Carlos Marín, of Spain, apologized for the absence of their partner Sébastien Izambard, but they promised an unforgettable night in which they would tour the best of their music during fourteen years of experience.

The warm lights on the stage that simulated a circus tent, gave a touch of passion to the venue that vibrated with a large repertoire of classic songs such as "Unchained Melody" and "Melancoly", with which Il Divo has sold millions of records throughout the world and has managed to enter the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful commercial international pop project in history.

The versatility, the romanticism, the vocal range of the trio and the detail of giving a rose to Reina Sofía were key pieces for Il Divo to get their name tattooed in the heart of the patasalada public.

"Bésame mucho" by Consuelo Velázquez, "Quizas, quizas. quizas," by Osvaldo Farrés and "Por una cabeza" by Carlos Gardel, formed a block of Latin American songs in the voice of Il Divo.

On their first night in Mazatlan, they could not leave out musical hits such as "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen and a stellar finale with the performance of "The Impossible Dream" by Mitch Leigh; "Back to me" and "My Way"; the grateful public gave them their affection and effusive applause.
